Gardens GreenMarket in Palm Beach Gardens: A Fall Guide

The Gardens GreenMarket's summer schedule ran Sundays from June 7 through September 27, according to the city's market page. The season kickoff landed on the very next Sunday, October 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City Hall Municipal Campus, 10500 N. Military Trail. The market has no gap to reopen from. It changes gears.

The city's registration listing for the 2026-27 season runs from October 4, 2026 through September 26, 2027. That is a full year of Sundays on one campus, and the fixed weekly date is what lets the rest of the city's fall calendar attach to it.

A Market With Named Sundays

The city's general market information page lists the market's own calendar. The main season kickoff is the first Sunday in October. The summer market covers the Sundays of June through September. July Sundays carry a Park and Recreation Month celebration, and the first Sunday of August marks National Farmer's Market Week, which fell on August 2 this year. The anniversary celebration is the second Sunday in January. On January 11, 2026, the market marked 24 years, with a ceremony at 9:00 a.m. and a limited-edition tote giveaway while supplies lasted.

Between those anchor dates, the city publishes a monthly "Savor Your Sunday" line-up. Each Sunday gets a highlight, a band and a wellness class. Some past examples:

  • January 4, 2026: National Pasta Day, with Indigo Dreamers on stage.
  • January 18, 2026: a Winnie the Pooh Day honey pot scavenger hunt.
  • February 8, 2026: a Kids Music Circle demo with Mr. Noam Brown, with Yoga Joint at 8 a.m.
  • February 15, 2026: a pop-up watercolor workshop with registration required, The Killbillies playing and YogaSix at 8 a.m.
  • February 22, 2026: a hands-only CPR demonstration for American Heart Month, with Chris Piquette Duo and Pure Barre at 8:30 a.m.

Two things stay the same every week. The Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center booth near the stage offers a free blood pressure screening, and Veterans Plaza Amphitheater hosts a free wellness activity as the schedule permits.

The city had not posted the October 2026 line-up as of this writing. Its News Flash page is where the monthly schedule appears.

The Weekend Two Markets Opened a Day Apart

The Gardens was not the only market to start its season that weekend. The West Palm Beach GreenMarket opened its 32nd season on Saturday, October 3, on the Great Lawn at 100 N. Clematis Street. It runs Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., seasonally from October. Jupiter Magazine's latest market roundup puts the two side by side with the other markets in the northern Palm Beaches:

The Tequesta Market

Saturday

Gallery Square North, 361 Tequesta Drive

Two things stand out. The Gardens opens at 8 a.m., an hour ahead of El Sol's Sunday market and the earliest start on the list. Sunday also holds only one full-schedule market in Palm Beach Gardens, since Blue Ridge Farms is listed on select Sundays only and El Sol is seasonal. Saturday is more crowded, with three markets, so a Saturday stop in West Palm Beach, Tequesta or the Swank barn on North Road can be followed the next morning by the Gardens. The market list also reaches into Jupiter Farms, where Blue Ridge Farms sets up on its listed Sundays. Check the farm's website for current dates.

October on the Same Campus

The city's October events cluster around the market date and City Hall. In order:

  1. October 1: the Florida City Week art scavenger hunt began. Clues appear on the #CityofPBG social media pages, and prizes are awarded during Florida City Week.
  2. October 4: the GreenMarket season kickoff, with live music, local vendors and a giveaway item while supplies last, according to the market's own social posts.
  3. October 6: Stories in the Park, a free event held on the first Tuesday of every month from October through May.
  4. October 19 to 25: Florida City Week. The Resident Photography Contest exhibition opens at City Hall on October 19 and stays up through December 3.
  5. October 24: the Fall Festival, from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Court North.

The Fall Festival is the biggest evening on the list. It has Trick-or-Treat Street, a dance party with DJ Rey, a fun slide, carnival games, inflatables, food trucks and a Tot Zone for the youngest guests. Some city pages still carry an older teaser that places the festival on October 4. The festival's own page and the Florida City Week page both list Saturday, October 24, and October 4 this year is a Sunday.

Small Print for a Sunday Morning

The market runs rain or shine at the northeast corner of Burns Road and Military Trail. City ordinance keeps pets out of city parks, with an exception for service animals as the city defines them, so dogs stay home. The city notes there are no ATMs at the site. Restrooms are next to the fire tower and at the Gardens Park baseball fields.

Vendor applications for the 2026-27 season closed June 30. The city keeps an interest form for anyone who wants to be on the waitlist, and market staff contact people if a vacancy opens. Artisans and crafters have a separate opening, since applications are now being accepted for the Gardens Harvest & Holiday Bazaar. For the restaurant side of a Palm Beach Gardens week, our earlier dining post covers Alton and Avenir. The full Palm Beach Gardens neighborhood page collects the rest of what we track in the city.
